Buccaneer – 46m
Time - 9:00 am - 2:30 pm
The Royal navy don’t always get it correct as the wreck of the Buccaneer will testify to. She was an armed tug operating from Portland harbour built in 1937. She was a large single prop vessel powered by a three cylinder triple expansion engine. After the war she happened to be on target duty towing a target when she was mistaken for the target vessel. She was rather embarrassingly blown from the water where she lies today on her port side
Sea Bed Depth: 46m
