Built as a luxury yacht, she had a swimming pool and was fitted with extensive brass fittings, one key feature of her design was vented portholes designed for hotter climates, a whole row of these are easily identifiable on the sea bed
Sunk by German aircraft July 1940, while escorting a British submarine
This makes a fascinating dive especially the mosaic of the swimming pool still intact, a Lewis gun can also be seen on the wreck
